A puppy thrown from a moving vehicle and run over this weekend in Tulsa is doing better than expected.

A Tulsa veterinarian says the six-to-eight-week old Labrador retriever suffered cracked ribs and bruises. The puppy is walking around, eating and drinking normally.

Witnesses say two Hispanic males threw the dog from a car in a crowded flea market parking lot. They ran over the dog and took off. No one has been arrested.
