Poteau- Officials at Kiamichi Technology Center say they've addressed all the problems pointed out in a state audit.

A February audit showed the center had given illegal loans to employees and violated the competitive bidding process.

In one instance a teacher had students helping him build his home as a class project.

School Superintendent Jim Beard says the school board has adopted a plan to fix problems.

Beard says the school's plan includes new policies and accounting procedures. The district has also adopted rules that forbid the use school facilities for private use.

In March, District Attorney Rob Wallace submitted the audit to the attorney general's office for a multi-county grand jury consideration.

Attorney General spokesman Charlie Price says the request has been given back to Wallace.
