Vance Air Force Base could be home to a $15-million logistics complex. The base is located in Enid.

The Senate Armed Services committee added the appropriation to a defense bill. The project is part of $84-million in military construction for Oklahoma bases next year. If approved, Vance will consolidate operations currently in ten buildings.

Eight of those buildings have been at the base since World War II. The full Senate is expected consider the bill next week.
