(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A lawsuit filed in Creek County District Court alleges there have been millions of dollars in overcharges on Oklahoma turnpikes.

Doctor Debra Montgomery of Creek County, Kim Lane of Tulsa County, Danny Sullivan of Cleveland County and Oklahoma Foreign Used Cars of Cleveland County filed the lawsuit.

The four allege the electronic readers that detect Pikepass transactions are poorly maintained and have improperly generated millions of dollars for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.

OTA acting director Holly Lowe says the organization does not comment on pending litigation.
