The man who admitted to shooting and killing a Tulsa mailman will go back to a federal corrections medical facility.

A federal judge ruled Thursday evening that Jason Weed is a danger and does present a risk if he's released back to the community. Weed shot and killed Robert Jenkins in December, 2001, and was later found not guilty by reason of insanity.

Except for a few weeks treatment at a federal hospital, Weed's been in a cell at the Tulsa County Jail since the shooting.
