People's who've lost their jobs are getting help from the federal government. First District Congressman John Sullivan and Tulsa Mayor Bill LaFortune announced Friday that the Labor Department gave the city a million dollar grant.

The money will pay for a Re-Employment Assistance Center at Tulsa's Promenade Mall. The office has computers and other help available for people looking for work. Congressman John Sullivan, "This gives them a great place to go to work on their resume. To listen to networking people. Every Monday they have networking classes, teach you how to retrain yourself for another career."

The Re-Employment Assistance Center is on the upper level of Promenade Mall near Foley's.
