OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Lauren Bay held Baylor batters at bay, allowing only three hits as Oklahoma State beat the Bears 8-0 in the Big 12 Conference softball tournament at Don Porter Hall of Fame Stadium Thursday night.

Texas also won, beating Texas Tech 7-1 in the late game.

Megan Carey's two-run homer in the first inning gave the Cowgirls (36-11) a 2-0 lead.

Katie Decker was able to keep Oklahoma State from scoring again until the fifth inning, when the Cowgirls got RBIs from Stephanie Nicholson, Ryan Realmuto and Stephanie Hodges.

Carey hit another two-run homer in the sixth inning to wrap up scoring for Oklahoma State.

Baylor's three hits came over six innings. Bay (23-7) struck out eight for Oklahoma State.

Decker (8-7) allowed 11 hits and eight runs in 5 1/3 innings for Baylor (30-28), which beat Iowa State 3-0 to advance to the OSU outing.

In the Texas-Texas Tech game, Lindsay Gardner and Tamara Poppe hit home runs to lead the Longhorns (40-7) to victory.

Gardner launched a two-run, two-out shot over the center field fence in the bottom of the third to put the first runs on the board.

Sarah Wieszczak was walked to lead off the inning to give Texas a 2-0 lead. The Longhorns added two more runs in the fourth.

The Red Raiders had back-to-back singles to load the bases. Lizzi Sowers threw a wild pitch to score Arlene Newton for the only Raider run.

Cat Osterman (23-4) struck out eight batters while giving up two hits and walking one.

Sowers struck out three and gave up three hits and a run in relief for the Longhorns.

Erin Crawford (7-15) allowed 11 hits and seven runs in six innings in taking the loss for Texas Tech.

Texas will face the winner of the Oklahoma-Texas A&M game Friday afternoon.
