The damage has people cleaning up in varying degrees across Washington County. While a number of homes were damaged, power lines need to be replaced and there's extensive tree damage as well.

Two people were hurt in the area and officials say it could have been much worse. Washington County Sheriff Pat Ballard credits "early warning" for the relatively small number of injuries. "We were watching Channel 6, they called it real close. We were discussing that, that they probably didn't miss it by 30 feet, to where they said it'd come through”

A man and his wife were taken to the hospital for their injuries. He was released, but she was still being treated at last word.

There is help if you've lost "uninsured" items. You can call the Washington County Emergency Management office at 918-331-2710.
