SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) _ St. Gregory's University plans to open a branch campus in Tulsa.
School President the Rev. Lawrence Stasyszen said the new campus will begin offering classes next fall in the Local Oklahoma Bank Building near Bishop Kelley High School. The campus will offer accelerated degree programs for working adults.
Tulsa students will be able to earn bachelor's degrees in business administration or management information systems. The campus also will offer accelerated freshman and sophomore classes for associate's degrees in business management or management information systems.
St. Gregory's University is a four-year, liberal arts, Catholic university. It has 793 students in Shawnee.
It was established in 1875 by the Benedictine community of St. Gregory's Abbey and is one of Oklahoma's oldest colleges.
