(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The tobacco industry has forwarded more than $51-million dollars to Oklahoma officials.

It's the latest payment in the 1998 settlement agreement with big tobacco.

More than $28-million of Tuesday's payment was deposited in the state's Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Fund. The fund now has a balance of more than $130-million.

Oklahoma has received more than $300-million from the settlement agreement. The state will receive more than $2-billion during the next 25 years.
