A Tulsa Police investigation uncovers new details in an incident early Thursday morning at a Tulsa apartment complex that officers first believed was as a shooting.

Police say a 16-year-old girl and a friend were selling marijuana near 31st and Mingo. Officers say two men agreed to buy some, but then stole the drugs and the girls' money.

The 16-year-old girl chased the men to a nearby apartment complex. Tulsa Police say that's when one of the men, 19-year-old Noah Daniel pistol-whipped the girl and the gun went off. The girl thought she'd been shot, but her only injuries were from being hit with the gun.

Security guards held Daniel until police arrived; they recovered the drugs, the money and the gun.
