Oklahoma military families are turning to each other for support. Last week we introduced you to a Claremore couple whose two sons are Marines serving in Iraq.
Becky Rohr organized "Operation Rogers County Connection". Tuesday night's meeting was the first for the support group for Rogers County families whose loved ones are fighting in the war. "There are a lot of people that don't really have family around them to help encourage them - and we don't want anybody sitting at home watching that television day in and day out and not have anybody to talk to."
The families at the meeting shared pictures and stories of their loved ones. They also advice for coping while their family members are overseas.
