Family and friends gathered at a Fort Sill memorial service Tuesday afternoon for Sergeant First Class Randy Rehn.
Rehn was killed in combat last week in Iraq, becoming Oklahoma's second casualty of war. Family members describe the 36-year old soldier, husband and new father as a quiet man who loved to have fun.
Danielle Hathaway, Randy's Sister-in-Law, “He was good humored and about the baby, just ecstatic and I'm so glad he was here for the birth, at least he had three months with her."
Rehn leaves behind a wife and 7-month old daughter. Family members are still working out the funeral arrangements. He will be buried in Tulsa.
