Plans are in the works to cut back grass cutting this summer in Tulsa. The city will stop mowing areas of right away adjacent to homes - and rely on homeowners to do the work.
They'll also cutback on the number of times they mow other areas - from 8 times a year back to 6 times a year.
The city predicts the changes will save about $300,000.
