(Claremore-AP) -- A Michigan trucker was killed in a fiery crash Thursday morning on Interstate 44 in northeastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Keith Brown of Brighton, Michigan died about 4:45 in the accident in Rogers County, southwest of Claremore.

Troopers say the tractor-trailer rig Brown was driving westbound ran off the interstate, overturned and caught fire.

Troopers say they're still trying to determine why the rig veered off the roadway.
