(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahomans gathered on the first Sunday since war began, to pray for a speedy finish to the war with Iraq and the safe return of troops.
Jim Hunkins, a guest minister at Emmanuel Episcopal Church sought to calm people's anxieties, saying everything is in God's hands.
Other churches prayed for the Iraqi people, the president and the troops fighting the war.
At Boston Avenue United Methodist Church in downtown Tulsa a candle would burn in the church chapel until the war's end.
