An Oklahoma State Senate committee has given final approval to a bill calling for a statewide vote on a lottery.
The bill has already passed the House and is now heading to the full Senate for action.
The Lottery is Governor Henry's idea for public school funding.
He told Senators they were not being asked to decide on the merits of a lottery, only whether the public should be allowed to vote on the issue.
