Close to 300 Oklahoma soldiers are getting ready for deployment. Members of the National Guard unit say they've been waiting for orders, and are now ready to do their jobs.

The soldiers leave for Fort Sill on Tuesday and then overseas.

Another 375 Army National Guard reservists left from Lawton on Saturday night. As with nearly all of our troops, their exact deployment and mission were kept secret.
