Five potential Democratic candidates have stepped up to replace Gene Stipe, who resigned from the state Senate this week.

Here's a look at those who've expressed interest. They are Representatives Terry Harrison and Richard Lerblance. There's also former Representative Lloyd Fields, Former District Attorney Kalyn Free and university administrator Clif Davis.

No Republicans have come forward yet. Governor Brad Henry has 30 days to schedule a special election to fill the vacant seat.
