(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Oklahoma City woman will go to trial on first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of her newborn son.
Carla Renee Quillen is ordered to stand trial on charges that she allowed her son to bleed to death and then buried him in a cemetery near Stonewall.
Quillen's common-law husband and the baby's father, Kevin Tillman, says Quillen brought the infant to his home. Tillman says a few hours later the child had died.
Court records show Quillen has seven other children. Some of them have been taken from her because they were born addicted to cocaine.
Medical examiners found cocaine in the dead newborn's system.
Quillen is scheduled to appear in court May 14th.
