Oklahoma schools got a budget boost from the state's Rainy Day Fund on Thursday.
Governor Brad Henry signed off on $25.5-million of emergency funding for public schools, kindergarten through grade 12.
And Tulsa Public Schools is $190 richer Thursday, thanks in part to some fancy picking' by Superintendent David Sawyer. Sawyer joined the "Round Up Boys" in entertaining the lunchtime crowd at Nelson's Buffeteria. The group donated all of Thursday's tips to the Zarrow Matching Challenge, benefiting Tulsa Public Schools.
The Round Up Boys also played at the teachers rally in Oklahoma City.
