Drivers were slip sliding' away on roads and highways again Wednesday morning. One of the worst spots was actually to our south.

News on 6 reporter Steve Berg says Highway 75 South is usually the route to warmer weather. Not Wednesday. A sudden freezing drizzle caught many people off guard Wednesday morning.

One of the worst stretches was between Glenpool and Okmulgee on Highway 75. One man got some driving tips. His truck tipped right over. Several others wound up in ditches too. There's not a lot you can do about the ice on the roads. But police say they one thing you "can" control is your speed. "If they use just a little bit of common sense, slow down, give themselves some time between cars, it's be alright, but they're not doing that, it's like it's 80 degrees."

Interstate 40 was actually shut down at one point around Henryetta. Roads are better now, but officials are still discouraging travel everywhere from Tulsa to the Texas line.
