Tulsa city councilor Joe Williams will not be running for re-election in 2004. The councilor made the announcement Wednesday, saying he wants to focus on his family and devote more time to his career at ONG.

He says he wants to give someone else plenty of time to prepare for the election. Councilor Williams will have served in his position for ten years when his term expires next year.
