Tulsa Police say a 6-year-old Tulsa boy is fighting for his life after they say his mother gave him Methadone.

Medical workers at St Francis Hospital called police when the boy was brought to intensive care unconscious Thursday evening. Tulsa Police detectives searched the home of the boy's mother, Patricia Ann Creger.

They say they found a suicide note that said she was going to kill herself and her son with pills. The suspect had received divorce papers from her husband earlier in the day. Police arrested Creger for attempted murder by poisoning and injury to a minor child.
