(Tulsa-AP) -- The murders of a Glenpool couple may have happened because the killer didn't want to pay child support.
The trial for Michael Allen Browning opened yesterday in Tulsa with jurors hearing a young woman scream on a 9-1-1 tape. Cenessa Tackett told a dispatcher Mike Browning shot her and two others in February 2001.
Tackett testified today that she was pregnant with Browning's child at the time of the murders. She says she told Browning before the shootings she was going to sue him for child support.
Killed were 42-year-old Teresa Hye and 64-year-old Harry Hye. Their house was burned down.
Tackett survived the attack and had a baby a couple of months later.
