A former Tulsa Police officer has filed a lawsuit against the city. Roy Johnson wants the city to provide legal representation for him in at least seven lawsuits.

The lawsuits accuse Johnson of false arrest during his time on the force.

Earlier this month, the Tulsa City Council denied Johnson's original request, saying he did not file the proper paperwork in time, according to state law.
