One person killed in wrong way accident on Will Rogers Turnpike

A fatal accident late Wednesday night has killed a Tulsa man.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says David Swartz was driving his pick-up truck the wrong way down the Will Rogers Turnpike, when he sideswiped a Jeep Cherokee.

Swartz's truck rolled over and skid nearly 300 feet. He died at the scene. The driver of the Jeep was taken to St Francis Hospital.

His condition is not known.
