The 17th annual Chili Bowl Nationals are underway at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.
Drivers and their fans from all over the country are in town for four days and nights of racing. The Chili Bowl is really a unique event, indoors dirt track racing. In fact everything is indoors, the trade show, the pits, the garage area, and of course the track.
207 cars racing over four days. There are 12 or so races every night. Friday and Saturday nights they'll probably have more than 10,000 fans sitting and standing in the IPE building.
Winston Cup champ and defending Chili Bowl Champ Tony Stewart will be here Friday.
