TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ New Tulsa football coach Steve Kragthorpe announced his assistant coaches on Tuesday.

Kragthorpe, the former quarterbacks coach for the Buffalo Bills who was hired Dec. 18 to replace Keith Burns, has hired six new coaches and retained three from Burns' staff, Tulsa said.

Kragthorpe has hired:

_Todd Graham, former co-defensive coordinator at West Virginia, as assistant head coach and defensive coordinator;

_Charlie Stubbs, former offensive coordinator at UNLV, as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach;

_Bob Schultz, former offensive coordinator at Tarleton State, as special teams and receivers coach;

_Danny Phillips, graduate assistant at West Virginia, as defensive line coach;

_Spencer Leftwich as offensive line coach, the same position he coached at North Texas;

_Matt Wells as tight ends coach, the position he held under Burns, and recruiting coordinator;

_TiAndre Sanders to remain as running backs coach;

_Sammy Lawanson as defensive backs coach, the same position he had under Burns;

_Keith Patterson, the former coach at Ardmore High School, as linebackers coach.
