(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma senior guard Ebi Ere is the Big 12 Player of the Week.

Ere averaged 20 points, 5.5 rebounds, two assists and three steals in wins over North Carolina-Asheville and Michigan State last week.

Ere was last year's Big 12 Newcomer of the Year. He leads the team and ranks third in the league with his 18.8 points per game.
