Tulsa missed five of six free throws in the final two minutes but managed to hang on to a 63-to-60 victory over Nevada.
Kevin Johnson scored 18 points for Tulsa, but just two in the second half of yesterday's game as Nevada erased most of a 17-point deficit.
Johnson made 8-of-10 shots from the field, but took just two shots in the second half as his teammates struggled to get the ball inside.
Reserve Marqus Ledoux bailed out the Hurricane with a season-high 11 points, including TU's final two baskets.
TU's defense limited Nevada to 32 percent shooting in the first half. Tulsa led 37-to-22 at the half.
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Hurricane.
