(Minneapolis-AP) -- Kevin Burleson and Moe Hargrow each scored 17 points to lead the sluggish Minnesota Golden Gophers past Oral Roberts 85-to-80.

Rick Rickert scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds, but shot only 4-of-13 from the floor.

The Golden Eagles stayed close thanks to a combination of tough inside defense and poor free-throw shooting by the Gophers.

Minnesota went 31-for-45 from the line and allowed 17 offensive boards. Both teams committed 13 turnovers.

Tyrone Tiggs led the Eagles with 17 points and 15 rebounds.
