LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ Jeff Leise had a home run and four RBI as Nebraska beat Oklahoma 12-2 Sunday, taking 2-of-3 from the Sooners in the weekend series.
Jeff Blevins added two hits and drove in three runs for the Cornhuskers (21-10, 9-6 Big 12), who moved into second place with the pair of wins over Oklahoma.
The Sooners (19-12, 7-5) had been tied for the league lead entering the weekend.
Aaron Marsden (2-1) struck out seven over seven innings. The two runs he allowed were solo homers by Ryan Richardson.
Oklahoma starter Michael Bradbury (2-1) allowed six runs on four hits in 2 1/3 innings.
Leise put the Huskers up 2-1 with a bases loaded single with two outs in the second, then in the third Nebraska added four runs on an RBI single by Blevins and a two-run single by Drew Anderson.
Leise added a two-run homer as Nebraska scored four more in the fifth, then Justin Seely ended the game with a solo home run in the seventh.
The game was called after Seely's homer because of the Big 12's 10-run rule.
