Teenagers in Owasso kicked butts along with millions of others around the country Wednesday.

It’s national Kick Butts day when young people take a stand against big tobacco. Owasso's SWAT team, Students Working Against Tobacco, shredded more than six thousand tobacco ads Wednesday morning.

Students gathered the ads from magazines at home, illustrating just how accessible they are to kids. The now-shredded ads will be sent back to the tobacco companies, stamped, "rejected."
