A Tulsa teen remains in serious condition after the car she was driving was hit by a truck that was drag racing.
The accident happened late Sunday night on 33rd West Avenue.
Police say a car and a pickup were racing when the truck swerved into the oncoming lane to pass a slower car.
Andy Phillips, Tulsa Police Department: "The truck went to the center in attempt to pass the mustang and hit another vehicle head-on"
It took emergency crews 45 minutes to pry Joella Richards' from her car.
She has fractures to her ribs, pelvis and legs.
A teenage passenger in her car suffered a ruptured spleen.
The truck driver is identified as Mick Dardenne.
Police say he could be charged with DUI and driving without a license.
