A south Tulsa family grieves for their pet found dead after a dog napping. Don and Rebecca Wells had their pet dog "Maggie" boarded at Hammond Veterinary Hospital, while they were on Spring Break.
Someone broke in early Monday morning and stole Maggie and another dog. The Wells' put up signs hoping someone will help them find their ten-year-old pet. Tuesday morning they received word "Maggie" had been hit by a car and died.
The Wells' believe their dog was let go and was trying to find her way home when she was killed. Police are still investigating, no one has been arrested.
