COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) _ Travis Wong hit a grand slam, his sixth homer of the season, over the left field wall to key a seven-run second inning Sunday as Texas A&M defeated Oklahoma 11-2.
The Aggies (20-10, 7-5 Big 12) got eight hits in the second inning and took an 8-0 lead.
The Sooners (16-7, 4-2) scored in the top of the fifth when Charlie Frasier hit his fifth home run of the season off A&M starter Khalid Ballouli.
Kyle Parcus replaced Ballouli, who allowed a walk and a double to begin the eighth. Parcus held the Sooners to just one run on a RBI single to the first man he faced, Eddie Cornejo.
Ballouli (4-1) allowed only four hits while striking out seven. The Aggies added a pair of unearned runs in the bottom of the eighth to make the score 11-2.
Oklahoma starter Evan Gruesel (2-1) suffered the loss as he allowed five runs on five hits in one-plus innings.
