The beleagured K-mart corporation will close 284 stores.
A bankruptcy court in Chicago gave K-mart the go ahead to close the stores as part of it's financial restructuring plan.
The closings include the Big K-Mart at 71st and Memorial in Tulsa.
K-mart says closing the stores will save money.
