The rain we are getting is a welcome sight for people in Washington and Osage County. Water levels at Lake Hulah are seven feet below normal. Boat ramps end in dirt. Even the old banks of the Caney River are again visible.
The lake is the main source of water for Bartlesville, and already, the city is being asked to cut back.
Arlyn Hendricks, Lake Hulah Manager: "If we don't get some rain in the Spring then we could get into some critical situations as far as their water supply goes..."
Skiatook Lake is the driest lake near Tulsa. It's also seven feet below normal, but it's a much deeper lake than Hulah.
