U.S. Congressman John Sullivan cast his first vote for the first district - and one of Tulsa's largest employers is disturbed by his decision.
Sullivan voted in favor of a bill which passed in Congress - a bill that WorldCom says will allow the Baby Bell companies to create a monopoly, driving out competition and driving up prices.
But Sullivan said he thinks it would give rural Oklahoma schools access to high-speed internet connections.
He says he received many letters from constituents supporting the bill.
