(LOS ANGELES) - The Producers Guild of America gave the makers of ``Moulin Rouge'' the top award Sunday night at the 13th Annual Producers Guild Awards.
Martin Brown, Baz Luhrman and Fred Baron produced ``Moulin Rouge,'' a zany musical set at a Paris can-can club, which also has been nominated for an Oscar.
The guild movie winner has gone on to win the Academy Award for best-picture nine out of 12 times, including last year with ``Gladiator.''
Other winners announced Sunday at the Century Plaza Hotel included:
Television Drama: ``The West Wing,'' NBC.
Television Comedy: ``Sex and the City,'' HBO.
Television movies, miniseries or other long-form television: ``Band of Brothers,'' HBO.
