Sallisaw officials say they will keep Blue Ribbon Downs open - even if they do foreclose on the race track.

The city attorney filed notice Tuesday against the track's owners.

Race Horse Incorporated owes about 270 thousand dollars to the Sallisaw Municipal Authority. It loaned the track nearly 2.5 million dollars.

Officials say no payments have been made in more than a year.
