NEW YORK (AP) _ Brandy's latest production will be her most important yet _ she's going to be a mother.

A spokeswoman for Brandy confirmed Thursday that the singer-actress is pregnant. The baby is due sometime in July.

Earlier this month, the 23-year-old admitted that she secretly wed producer Robert Smith last summer. Her latest album, ``Full Moon,'' will be released next month. Her new single ``What About Us?'' is already a top 10 hit.
