Tulsa mayoral candidates outlined their vision for the city's future at a forum downtown Thursday.

The forum was sponsored by the citizens' group Tulsa Now and major arts organizations. The groups say they organized the forum to call attention to the issues of Tulsa's image, downtown revitalization, and arts and entertainment scene.

They urged Tulsa's next leader to examine reasons why past bond efforts including civic center improvements and a sports arena failed, and what can be done to unite the city in the years ahead.
