A police chase in downtown Tulsa sends two people to the hospital Monday morning.

Tulsa Police say around 6:40 AM, an officer spotted a car reported stolen in Tulsa. The officer got up behind the car, and as he turned on his lights, the driver took off, but it didn't last long. Tulsa Police Sgt Wayne Allen: "The officer turns on his emergency lights at uh 10th & Cheyenne. The vehicle accelerates going south bound on 15th where he runs the red light striking an innocent motorist at the intersection."

The motorist was taken to the hospital with none-life threatening injuries. The chase suspect is 33-year-old Gary Scroggins; he was also transported to the hospital. Charges are pending.
