Navy Petty Officer Brian Moss of Sperry was killed in the attack on the Pentagon last year. Moss gave his life protecting our freedom. And now a scholarship has been setup to help carry on his name, and his beliefs.
The scholarship will go to a Sperry High School student. Friday on Six in the Morning a representative for Brian's family said the scholarship is based on more than just academics. "Students who excel in other areas which is community service, character the kind of things Brian exemplified you know random acts of kindness."
If you are interested in more information about the scholarship contact Sperry High School at 288-7213.
