Some pantries are a bit better stocked thanks to the help of a local star and an Oklahoma city organization.

Jazz musician Wayman Tisdale was out front as Feed the Children handed out a truckload full of rice, flour and other staples to needy families and several food banks. "You can spend your time in a lot of different ways, but I enjoy, get a great joy in helping people out."

The event took place at the Greenwood Cultural Center on North Greenwood.
