The president of the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce made a stop in Tulsa Thursday.

Recognized nationwide as an expert in the field of minority business development, this is Herrera's first visit to Oklahoma. He visited with Tulsa area business leaders at a luncheon Thursday, "With the increase in the number of Hispanics in the community and the emergence of the business community here that we can continue to roll out collaborative relationships with major corporations here in the city of Tulsa."

Herrera was the keynote speaker at Thursday's second annual Excelencia Awards.
