TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Charlie Davis and Kevin Johnson scored 14 points each as Tulsa held off Nevada 73-68 on Saturday.
The Golden Hurricane (18-4, 9-2 Western Athletic) nearly blew an eight-point lead in the final 1:13.
Nevada's Terrance Green scored seven of his game-high 24 points in that span and Tulsa made just 1 of 4 free throw attempts to take a 70-68 with under 30 seconds to play.
Green missed a free throw and Greg Harrington made two to seal the victory.
Harrington finished with 10 points and five assists.
Nevada (12-9, 5-6) trailed 36-32 at halftime, but led 58-57 with 5:51 to play on a basket by Green.
Tulsa took the lead for good at 60-58 on a steal and slam by Jarius Glenn. Davis made 1 of 2 free throws with 1:13 left to make it 69-61 before Nevada's comeback.
Tulsa outrebounded Nevada 39-32, led by Davis with eight.
