Several local high school students are enjoying a different type of musical experience.

The orchestra students from Central, Edison, Booker-T, and Memorial high schools played alongside the Tulsa Philharmonic Friday. They spent the day, Friday, practicing for the big performance.

Organizers say it's a wonderful collaboration that gets young people involved in a unique musical opportunity.
